After EPUB の後

An important goal of the Publishing WG is to add to the web platform the features that it currently lacks to support the full diversity of publications (see the opening paragraph of the PWG charter, and paragraph 2 of the Goals section). To improve publications on the web, we need web people and publishing people to work together — as we have for instance done in CSS for Writing Modes.

Publishing WGの重要な目標は、出版物の多様性をウェブで対応が出来る様にウェブプラットフォームに足りない機能を追加して行くことである（参照：PWGチャータの冒頭文章、およびGoalsセクションの第２段落）。 そのため、CSSの縦書きプロジェクトでした様に、ウェブの人々と出版業界の人々の行力が重要だと思います。
